IT'S A...

GIRL!

After much debate (on my side) we decided to find out the sex at our ultrasound appointment this afternoon. I'm so glad we did! She was very squirmy in the beginning, kicking and waving to us a few times. Well, I like to think she was waving! Then, at the end, when the technician needed just one last measurement, she decided to pass out flat on her face and there was nothing we could do to wake her up. After lots of poking and prodding and shifting around on the table she finally moved her head in the right place and they got what they needed. So far everything looks healthy and normal and in the right place. Phew!

I'd post one of the pictures they printed out for us but she looks a little bit like an alien right now. Our little angel alien baby.

Wow, so exciting! You are lucky...girls have so many cute clothes to choose from. I feel boys are sometimes a bit limited. You will def. have fun dressing her up. Those wouldn't happen to be maternity cords from the Gap would they? I had the same pair. I just loved them. You look great! Max might have some competition in chasing your baby girl. Kai has an advantage right, living in California? :-)

Congrats to you two, and welcome again to Baby Youngs, who has revealed herself to the doctor - may be the last time Mom and Dad will be glad to have her expose herself like that to a stranger. Ah, parenthood! Seriously, thanks for letting your loved ones know. Love, Mom/Grandma Jeannette
