everything is as it should be... that's what the doctor said yesterday. the baby's head is down, her heartbeat is strong, and she's still wiggling around on a very regular basis. as for me i'm measuring normally (no predictions of an unusually sized baby so far!), my cervix is starting to thin and the doctor told me i was finger-tip dilated. progress!
on a not-so-fun note my heartburn is keeping me up at night and my feet and hands are beginning to swell. for some reason i thought i was going to be one of the lucky few and have perfectly bony hands and feet throughout my pregnancy. but i spoke too soon... i'm starting to get the puffy sausage toes and fingers. lovely.
speaking of lovely, my friend julie threw me a baby shower last sunday at lovejoy's tea room here in san francisco. we had tea and delicious little sandwiches and scones and opened gifts and it was just wonderful. thank you julie and friends!
25 days and counting until my due date. unbelievable!

I know. I'm amazed how far you are along too. Wow!
I had to sleep on our couch the last month because I had to sleep all propped up (and no LazyBoy!). I had high blood pressue during labor which made the puffiness stick around a bit after the baby too. So many fun side effects!

I don't know... you still look pretty and slender given the 25 day countdown...by this point with Ella I was very Jaba the Hutt...
It's been so much fun checking this blog. Can't believe that in a few short weeks you'll be showing Sundown the rooftop view. That reminds me that I should look for a cute sun hat for her. All babies have to have a ridiculous hat. See you soon. Love, Mom
