Anna will be five months old on Monday. I can't believe how fast the time is going by! She loves to laugh and look at herself in the mirror. She screams a lot which then makes her laugh some more (and us too!) She can roll over from her back to stomach but hasn't quite mastered the stomach to back. She wants to put EVERYTHING in her mouth. She's not a big fan of the nap but is a pretty good sleeper at night - usually going to bed around 7:00, up at 4:00 for a feeding, and back to sleep until about 6:30 or 7:00. I can deal with that.
The most exciting development this week is her first tooth! It's coming in on the lower left-hand side. I think it might be one of those pointy guys. Usually it's more common for the two bottom teeth to come in first but I guess our little girl likes to be different.
You might also notice I've resorted to a short "mommy" cut. Guaranteed to keep little hands from pulling out your hair!

Anna is adorable - totally looks like Todd I think. I can't believe that Anna is already 5 months - you need to add the Lilypile ticker to your blog. Yep, I think we are all resorting to the short hair, you, me, and laura - though I have to say it hasn't helped from my end with the hair pulling. I scream in pain and Kai thinks it is hilarious! Great catching up with you yesterday!
So cute! I was thinking that 'this time last year' you were just announcing that you were pregnant. It's been an amazing year with more amazing things to come. I can definitely see that Anna's hair is getting longer? fuller?

I was just thinking that football starts in less than a month, and I can't wait to see Anna in her U of M cheerleader outfit!!! I'm sure you sing her "Hail to the Victors" every night in anticipation...
I love these updates! Not much napping, heh? Too bad. Maybe it'll change later. Once they start crawling/walking, they do get more pooped out. Love your new do. You can pull off anything!
